Alright, alright...

I have decided that it is time... I have seen all of these floating around on so many blogs lately... I think it is appropriate for this time of the year too... I mean, many bloggers that I read are mothers and now the kids are back in school, life is hectic, and sometimes... You just DON'T want to think of some clever little posty post. So, for me... it is appropriate at this point in time too. Since there is approximately one month since I am in S.Korea then a 30 day meme seems appropriate to keep me occupied... Yes. I may suck at it, yes, I may jumble a few of em up into one day (because I forgot...)... and YES... I might just stop doing it right smack dab in the middle... day 15 or something. Haha. So forewarning completed... One with this 30 day meme.

Day 1: Introduce myself!

Hi there! I'm Adrienne. Yes. This is me happy as can be, on my wedding day. The Hubbers and I had a mutual agreement that WE WOULD IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM have cake at the wedding. Low and behold... someone brought cake... And yes, they wanted us to cut it, and yes... they too wanted us to shove cake in each other's faces. HOWEVER. The Hubbers and I, still hell-bent on not wanting cake at our wedding (He and I both have a mutual dislike for it)... We agreed that we would cut it, and that was it. This picture was after we cut it and I proclaimed "I am done cutting this cake... let's get the eff outta here!" I felt happy for myself. I am telling you, if some stupid ass frosting or something got on my wedding dress, I probably would have had a complete meltdown!

Anyhow, back onto introductions. I just got married, Sept. 5th to be exact :). Yay me. I got married to my Hubbers, he is in the Army. So now, I am an Army Wife. This is him the night we had a family dinner, where I got to meet his mom, his dad, and his step-mom! This happened a couple of days before the wedding. You see, he rarely takes a fantastic picture, so his strategy is just making a weird face. That is okay though, cause I am telling you, he and I can entertain each other for quite some time by just making faces at each other! (if you would like to know how we met, read about our Beach Trip together and get a little background... visit those linkies :) )

Back to me. I am 22 years old. I have my Associates of Science Degree (With math curriculum), and I have one year left of my Bachelor's degree left. I was currently going to Portland State University when I met The Hubbers. But I was doing horribly not my best... and well. I really hung out with the Hubbers during Spring Break of this year and it was a bad thing that his last week here was my first week of Spring term. I didn't make it to very many of those classes... and once he left... I was a complete mess. Which lead me to decide that I really needed a break from school. So here I am, on my break from school, and now I am moving to Korea! Totally worth it.

I love animals, I currently do not have a pet all to myself. The hubbers and I want to get a pet hedgehog. When I get to Korea. I have owned numerous of animals, snakes (ball pythons), lizards (Bearded dragons and geckos), cats, rodents... and I love each and every one of them. So I would definitely have to say that I am an animal person. I feel somehow, incomplete without an animal in the house.

I am generally a happy person (it sure does take a lot of work!) but sometimes... I can get really down in the dumps. I am very susceptible to intense bouts of depression and pessimism. This year though, has been very different. I have gone about and decided that I would always do my very best to look on the bright side of things and realize that it could always, most definitely, be much, much worse! And that really works for me!

Other than that, I am just now getting into photography (well, I have always been interested, but now I can afford it!) again since high school. I would like to think I am pretty artistic. I can draw if I want to, and create when I feel creative! I have done lots of scrapbooking (need to get back into that too... I have too much shit for it NOT to get back into it eventually!), and lots of drawing. I am happy now though, to have an awesome camera so I can have an 'easier' creative outlet (that also keeps me on the computer!).

Oh, I am not religious, and I don't believe in God. I might one day. But right now it is not for me. I have nothing against people who do believe in God, and I even think it is cool. I was raised Christian and attended Bible study and all that good stuff. I really think it did help me develop into the person that I am today. One thing I really do love and believe in is...Astrology. (some of you might think I am nut-zo now, but that is okay.) I really love learning about other people, and really, I do love learning about myself. I feel as though every time I open an astrology book I learn a little more about myself and those around me. Even if I had read that book 12 times before!

Well... I looked back up and this post is ginormous. So, I guess since maybe some of you have stuck around this long, and read all about me... (and really... I could go on, if you wanted...) I give you kudos for sticking around, reading my mini novel and getting to know a little more about me. This blog is going to be great for recording my soon-to-be adventures and meeting fellow Army Spouses, and (hopefully) making new friends!

Stick around, Day 2: First Love, is coming up next! :)
