SUNDAY SOCIAL!

Sunday SocialIf you were stuck on an island what are the two material items you would want to have?
You know, I think about this one a lot, due to the fact this is like a question they asked us in school a lot. I think we also asked each other this growing up.

I don't think I could survive without the internet... But I think that's because I am pretty dependent upon it...

I wonder, what kind and how large of an island is this? Does my cell phone work there? How about... is there internet?? How about a cafe around the corner? ;) haha.

Okay in all seriousness... Is my husband a material item? Because I KNOW I would be surviving if he was stuck there with me. And we'd have a great time!

I would like to have a bed (totally made up and everything, you know, including sheets, blankets and pillows! Don't short change me here!).

And if this was a deserted island... a lighter would be nice... or one of those spark makers... You know, to build fires, I don't think I would have enough patience to rub two sticks together!

What are two TV shows you'd watch over and over?
Dude, 2 Broke Girls. Seriously. I am pretty sure I could watch each episode over and over and over again! I love that show. I laugh EVERY EPISODE! Max has some AMAZING one liners!

Usually next I would say How I Met Your Mother... But in all honesty... It's really gone downhill in the last two seasons. *makes face*.

New Girl. Yes, definitely! When I had my long hair, people would say that I reminded them of her! People still say it now, but it's not the whole package anymore. Just the personality! lol. I love Zooey. And Jess. Mostly Jess...

If your house was on fire what two things aside from family, pets, etc would you grab?
Laptop/bamboo pad. I am counting them as one unit because they're always connected to each other.

And... My Kitchenaid mixer/accessories. Yeah, that's right.

I didn't say cell phone because it is always on me anyhow. I didn't say photo books because I can always order more (I used Blurb.com, and they're saved on there!).

So, yeah. lol.

What are your two most favorite articles of clothing?
I have this one black shirt that is just ever so slightly dressy. I usually wear it with a tank underneath because if I don't it shows A TON of cleavage. lol. In which, is great too... cause that's the more dressier part of it to me. I feel super sexy whenever I wear that shirt! Dressed up or down!

My chucks. My grey chucks. They're the only chucks I own. But I so love that I finally bought some after wanting some converse for years. lol. I wish I could find more colors of them for cheap. Do you KNOW how expensive they are here in Germany?! You know how you can get them on sale for like $20-$30, and they're originally priced like $40-$50?? Well here in Germany shit rarely goes on sale, for one. And for two... They're like 70euro... Which is almost $100. Yeah. Fuck that is right!

And I know what you're thinking, "why don't you just buy them online?" Because I AM SCARED. I always mess up when ordering shoes online, and then they don't fit! lol. I have the worlds most picky feet!

What two movies that you saw in the past year would you recommend to us?
Last night, husband and I watched "End of Watch". Loved it! It was really great! Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña have amazing friendship chemistry together! It was funny and full of drama. At one point I was totally tense and on the edge of my seat! I would watch that movie over again! And, that's saying a whole hell of a lot because I RARELY watch movies over and over again!

Also, "Brave". Such an awesome Disney film! A lot of people had negative things to say about it, like... The girl was such a little brat and back talked a lot. But to me, that was the whole point of the movie, and at the end she realizes her mistakes! That's totally the POINT of Disney flicks!

What are your two biggest guilty pleasures?
1. Making brownie batter and/or cookie dough just to eat it. Yeah, raw eggs and all. I've got a stomach of steel, bitches!
2. Watching teenie bopper shows like The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Even though it's poorly made, and slightly annoying. I. Just. Keep. Watching...

I'd love to read your answers to these questions! I hope you head on over to Ashley Lately and join in on the Sunday Social questions!

  3. Oh man 2 Broke Girls is AMAZING. It has some of the best lines ever.

Just order your shoes somewhere online with free returns! Like zappos.com (: I know what you mean though, I`m the same way with pants. I swear I wear a different size in every brand lol.

I also have a love/hate relationship with bad tv! "This show sucks, but I really want to know what happens.."
