The Aquarium! (and #reverb10!)

uarSo sad that I had to miss out on yesterday's prompt! Ahha. But it's okay. Husband and I went to the aquarium in Seoul yesterday. It definitely was an all day thing! We didn't get back until 9:45p last night. LONG long LONG Train/metro/taxi rides. haha. Ah well. I will do yesterday's prompt today, and today's later. But it is still the 7th for most of you guys back home in the States! ahha

Here are a couple of fun pictures from the aquarium:
Pretty sure he was one of my most favorite fish in the whole Aquarium! He was super cute! I was very impressed at the quality of photos that my camera took, even through the thick acrylic.
Each light had a fish tank in it, with fish! :)
They had so many interesting objects transformed into fish tanks!
This guy was one of my favorites, it was like he was posing for me!
Jelly fish are so majestic, I think I have the most photos of jelly fish. Out of all the tanks, I am pretty sure I spent the most time in front of the Jelly tanks!
They were just so beautiful. I stared at them for a while!
OH man, today is supposed to be "D" isn't it?? Crap... Hmm. WELL. I might have to skip it for this week. Because I don't have anything!! :( Sorry. But enjoy the photos above! Oh and if you wanna see them all please head to My Flickr Account!

December 7 – Community Prompt: Community. Where have you discovered community, online or otherwise, in 2010? What community would you like to join, create or more deeply connect with in 2011? (Author: Cali Harris)

Community, hmmm. When I met Husband, I also became friends with his friends. His friends were amazing. I also quickly became friends with his brothers! They are amazing as well. I couldn't help but think that this was the best family I could ever marry into! (And so I did). But anyway. They are amazing. All of the people that husband knew were amazing. They were all very nice to me, and they are all genuinely good people. :) So happy to have them all in my life now.

There are some other communities I am involved in, Tally Scrapper, is one of them. The ladies there are amazing. I was gone for about a year (creative hiatus) and they welcomed me back with open arms! It was amazing to feel a part of somewhere again! It's also nice to have some creative inspiration! :)

A community I am just now trying to get into is the Army community. I am a brand new Army wife, and well... It's kind of hard to get into. I mean, yes, I have friends and such that are Army Wives, and what-not, but what I mean is that... The FRG and such... It's kind of hard to get into... Any suggestions?

In 2011, I hope to get more into the Army community. Also, once we are stationed somewhere new I hope that they will have more clubs to join in on. Like, scrapbooking clubs, and photography clubs...

  4. get yourself some local friends as well .. I have been stationed overseas enough to know and other stateside bases, but you also need to make friends with other active duty folks and network .. trust me it is not as hard as people make it. I am new to the "spouses" thing to now that I have just recently retired but honey bear you are going to be fine .. I loved Korea when I was stationed there for my year, I did so much shopping and eating LOL.

I found you from the Hambly Blog .. get as many pics as you can. One thing I did while stationed in Japan was stock photography, so many interesting things other than people huh? LOL

  7. LOVE those pictures!!! The turtle one is my favorite. As far as the community thing, yes it's sometimes tough getting into the military community. But hang in there and keep attending events. You'll find your niche.

Great to see you on the weekly roundup!

  8. Yeah, so I just booked my trip to Seoul... kidding. I definitely plan on living through your blog of adventures! Found you through the roundup, and my reverb10 for community was all about the woes of the millitary community. I have been doing it for about a year and still, don't know quite where I fit in.

  10. I totally agree with your comment on Tallyscrapper. I've been gone for quite awhile myself (found your blog from there). It's the very best scrappin community I've found. Love your jellyfish pics too. They are so hard to capture but so worth it when you get a good shot!
