SKETCHBOOK

I've been very busy this week. You should be proud!

A quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, see my post about it here

Yes, I name my plants. My cactus' name is Hector. Hector the Cactus. I thought it fitting...

This is a quote painting that I did that other day so I could blog about how I met a new person. You can read that post here. It's a good one.

I screwed up this painting, but I thought I would so you all anyhow. So there it is. My plant has like brown-red outlines on it's leaves. I tried, and failed. Haha.

Thought I'd show you my crazy plant with the pinkness. And how I was wasting much time painting it. It was pretty tedious, but I found it relaxing at the same time. Zen-like, really.

And my oh, so glorious sunglasses that I am super duper obsessed with. I love them so much. I want to put this one in a frame, for reallies.

CAUSE I'M HAVIN' A GOOD TIME, HAVIN' A GOOD TIME! I'M A ROCKETSHIP ON MY WAY TO MARS ON A COLLISION COURSE, I AM A SATELLITE, I'M OUTTA CONTROL...
I could go on, I wont bore you. I've been listening to a lot of Queen lately.

And then, there is this birdy. I was googling birds or something and came across this digi painting. And I thought the bird was like, the cutest freaking thing ever, so I had to draw it.

Also, this bird that I am pretty proud of. I thought it was a very pretty bird. It seemed easy enough to paint, so I did. I found this birdy here

You see, I have this Pinterest Board of things I want to paint, you can check that out here

Then, I made up this quote. I found some decorative banners to try and emulate via google. I really liked this one. And it helps me to remember that, I should really think about my ideas, and even give them a try.

Did you work on your hobby over the week?? Link up with the fun linkies below and show it off, friends!!
