When I am kind of stressed or overwhelmed I love getting caught up in a TV series and not thinking at all.
Where is your favorite place to be?
I love being on the beach. Anywhere really. It doesn't even have to be a beach where it gets hot. I love the Oregon coast with a passion. I love the water. It has a calming effect. I've never felt so whole than when I was at the beach. If only there was a beach in Germany... That wasn't northern Germany, then my life would be more than whole!
Who do you consider your biggest role model?
Who do you consider your biggest role model?
Role models can be good and bad ones right? Well... I wont say which kind they are but:
Mom.
Mom.
Dad.
Grandparents.
Husband.
What does your life look like in 3 years?
Holy crap, that is such a difficult question to ask when you're married to a soldier. We don't know. Honestly... Hopefully stationed somewhere really cool!
Possibly revisiting the idea of children, possibly... Don't get your hopes up. I may revisit the idea in my head and then pushing it off another 3 years.
Koodge will be like, 5 years old in 3 years, that's just crazy to think about. I wonder if he will calm down a bit...
If you could go back and change one decision, what would it be?
I like to think that if anything has changed in the past... then I wouldn't be who I am and where I am now. I can't change anything, in fear of my current life changing. I have a good life NOW. I don't often think about the past.
What is your biggest accomplishment in life so far?
Finding the perfect person for me -- And marrying him. --- I know it's corny. But... It's true. Marriage is work, patience and compromise... None of which I've had previously. It will be three years married to Husband in September. That is an accomplishment.
So glad you left a comment on my blog because I loved cruising around and getting to know your work... thinking we should so swap buttons... just have to work out how to make you a skinny one!!!

I really don't know where we will be in 3 years either. Dang military. I think I know, well besides the location, but then who knows what can happen between then and now!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get stationed somewhere cool as well!

Heyyy there...Germany eh? I'm a Navy wife myself, but won't be going any further than the East Coast...moving to VA in a few months! I'm not the sort of person who would do well in a foreign country, although the idea of it is exciting!!
