Please head on over to Wife of a Sailor to join in with the MilSpouse Friday Fill-in!!
What are some things on your bucket list? (from New Girl on Post)
Hm, this is a toughie! I know that I for sure one day want to be able to travel more. I really want to go to Sweden, Finland, and Norway (because I am Scandinavian). I also would like to go everywhere in Europe! I just pretty much want to travel everywhere! :) Also, I want my own house one day! How long have you been a MilSpouse and where have you been stationed so far? (from Raising Roscoe)
Well, I have been a MilSpouse for a little over a month now (actually, technically, almost two!). Right now the hubby is stationed over in S.Korea, and I am heading there, probably as you read this! What is a list of songs that sums up your life so far? (from Confessions of a Sailor’s Wife)
Oh man, these kinds of questions always trip me up!! The first song that comes to mind is What's My Age Again? by Blink182.
Hm, another is... People Hate Me by The Murderdolls (if you get offended easily... Don't listen)
And another would be ... The Grand Illusion by STYX. :)
What is your favorite kind of pizza?
I like pizza with lots of meat (no anchovies or anything weird like that. Just the basics pepperoni, sausage, beef, whatever) and MUSHROOMS and cheese. Light on the pizza sauce please! What are three good things in your life right now?
My life right now is utterly fantastic. To name just three things would be dramatically underestimating it, but to list them all would be SO much!! So I will stick with just three! - Get to live with Hubbers in a foreign country.
- ALIVE and WELL
- My attitude towards life.
So there you are. MilSpouse Friday Fill-In, completed. Wish me luck on the airplane! :) I am super scared! Haha, this will be my very first unaccompanied flight (also the first flight I will be able to remember). I flew a few times when I was younger. But you know, that is different... 1) I don't remember it (I do remember my mom throwing up on my baby blanket on the way back from Hawaii though!) 2) I was flying with adults who have flown before!! Man, oh, man. I am going to be a nervous wreck. I will let you know how many times I cry while traveling. Haha.

Good luck in Korea! My husband was in Turkey before he met me, and said that each station is what you make of it, and he LOVED it there. I hope you post photos!
ReplyDeleteSuper jealous that you get to go to Korea! My DH went there right after AIT, but I had to stay behind to finish my Master's degree. Have an AMAZING experience - get out there, visit everywhere you can, gobble up the food, etc. I got to go over for my spring break, but that was it.
ReplyDeleteI recently met a family who just returned from Korea - they absolutely loved it there - enjoy! I'll be looking forward to following your adventures here on your blog.
ReplyDeleteTake a nice, very thick book on the plane - the time will fly by (ugh, excuse the dreadful pun!).
If you haven't met her yet, Megan is also in Korea right now (http://megandubyuh.blogspot.com/)
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your trip! My husband is also in South Korea, so I'm looking forward to reading about your adventures there.
