LIFE SINCE YOU: AMANDA - GUEST POST

Hey there lovely readers! Today I wanted to share a little about my bestie with you. Except, I didn't do any of the hard work. I've finagled her to make the entire post up just for little ol' me! Thanks Amanda!

Just a little background, I've known Amanda probably since... I dunno we were 14  or something, but we NEVER really hung out or talked in High School. We were always acquaintances, and didn't have any issues with each other. It wasn't until well after high school that we really started talking here and there, and I even got her birth announcement!

Now, Amanda and I talk on FB nearly every day, for many hours. lol. I cannot wait until I get back to Oregon to hang out with her, for the first time, in person! It will be great!

Well hello everyone! I'm so excited to meet you guys! Adrienne is a really good friend of mine, and when she asked me to write up a post for her, I was totally thrilled! I guess I should start by telling you a little bit about myself, huh?

My name is Amanda. I'm 24 years old. I'm a wife, mother, owl-lover, chocolate addict, Instagramer, and a Mormon. Yes, another Mormon blogger. But don't worry, I'm not like the rest! (Just ask Adrienne. Haha) I love to sew. Love love love it. The feeling of accomplishment when I finish a project, it's how I get high. Fabric stores are my crack. If I'm cranky, I just have to walk the aisles of fabric to feel better.

I started blogging over 5 years ago, as a newlywed trying to keep busy while my husband was working graveyard shifts. Before too long, I started up an Etsy shop to sell my products and help fund my hobby. After a few years, I found myself holding a baby in one arm, and moving boxes in the other. My blog and shop got boxed up with everything else as we moved into our first real home.

Recently, I started missing it all. I wanted to blog, and I wanted to sew. I pulled out my old laptop and *poof* It died. Dead as a door nail. After coming to the conclusion that I could not resurrect my poor friend, I decided to get my Etsy shop up and running again. After all, good laptops aren't cheap! So I'm spending my afternoons in my craft room, with a toddler playing at my feet. And my evenings at our old desk top, blogging and running my Etsy shop.

So don't make me do all this work for nothing. Come by and say Hi! On my blog you can expect to find a lot of photos, a weekly Pinterest post, updates on my Etsy shop, random things that make me laugh, some thoughtful posts, some venting posts, and everything in between.
