December 12 – Body Integration This year, when did you feel the most integrated with your body? Did you have a moment where there wasn’t mind and body, but simply a cohesive YOU, alive and present? (Author: Patrick Reynolds)
Whenever I don't fully understand what something means, I tend to try and look it up. This time, I wasn't really sure what mind-body integration meant, so I did it. I looked it up. And there is a nice little definition that sounded pretty good to me.
Mind body integration is simply a process of learning how to be more conscious and present in the moment and to then be able to have a more full and joyful life.
Well. This year. Man, it was a lot easier after I had met husband. lol. And after I decided that I was going to take a break from school (for however long I wanted to), live with my mom and work for a little while. :) ha. This last summer, just living. It was nice. I got to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted... Well... Except that it had to work around my work schedule at the restaurant.
Yeah, after I met husband, I somehow felt more whole. I didn't have as many worries, and it felt like life just fell together magically. I mean, I know I am we are going to have to work on everything to keep it going smoother. But for now, while it is all working out. I am really enjoying life (even though I am super sick right now! Yes, still!).
I definitely enjoy the here and now, definitely do not worry about the past, and worry just enough about the future to be rightly prepared for it.
