HOW TO: PIZZA = GORMET MEAL

Yes, my husband and I eat pretty darn healthy for a couple with no kids. However, sometimes we just really need a quick and easy meal. We usually turn to pizza for that. Yes, yes, we know that freezer pizza is one of the unhealthiest things we eat.

To tell you the truth, husband and I usually read the ingredients of everything that we buy. When we don't know a word on the ingredient list, we put it right back on the shelf where it belongs. Because surely, it doesn't belong in our stomachs!

So there are a couple of things that we do to make ourselves feel a lot less guilty about eating this junk food!


Yes! Those ARE strawberries on that pizza! And you know what? Even though I did it on a whim because my strawberries were about to go bad, it tasted great!!

Some things that we add to our freezer pizzas are:

  • Strawberries
  • Cucumber
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Extra cheese - Mozzarella and others. 
I know that it sounds weird to put strawberries on a pizza, but I really thought about it, and there was already fruit on this pizza! There was pineapple already on it! I thought it couldn't be that bad... And I started off by just putting some where one or two slices would be, and then, I just dove right in and covered the whole thing! I surprised husband with it, and he liked it just fine! Score one for the wife!
