SKETCHBOOK...

Admittedly ... I only drew today. And a tea cup was calling to me. I have a little collection that I plan on turning into candles... Anyway, I grabbed one and drew it really quickly.

I'd really like to draw some cute things that people would like to put in their homes. I have a little Zazzle Store and I want to fill it with cuteness. I just can't ever seem to come up with something cute on my own. I feel like sometimes... I have no creativity. It's kind of disheartening. I don't know what my block is. I have one though. I just need to figure out how to get around it. So that I can create the things that I really want to.

Suggestions welcome!

  7. Hi, lovely to meet you. Love your tea cup. I think it's very cute and fresh.
My suggestion to deblocking is... draw draw draw, even if you think it's crap. Copy someone's style that you like, then copy someone elses style (this is for practice only, obviously). Eventually your style will emerge and you will be doing your own thing. Draw from life, doodle, just keep drawing. Promise it will happen. There are some great courses out there too that can help. :)
